Mark 11

Sorry for the delay in getting this post up. I'm having a busy week. Still, taking time to read the Word always has a way of releasing tension. It also keeps me grounded and dependent on the Lord. I hope you receive encouragement this week by spending time reading and praying. In fact, prayer is a focal point of the chapter. May God bless you this week.

I was down at Cornerstone this morning and when I got back home I read Psalm 118. I chose this Psalm for this week's reading because the people shout v. 26 to the Lord in Mark 11, "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord." But another verse also stood out because of where I had just come from, "I will give thanks to You because You have answered me and have become my salvation. The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone."

Psalm 118 is awesome! I have a tune from Michael W. Smith stuck in my head now---"His love endures forever."
