Hebrews 5
There is a part in Hebrews 5 that is a strong rebuke to many Christians: "You have been Christians a long time now, and you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things a beginner must learn about the Scriptures." (5:12) Maturing in the Christian faith is an intentional process that includes the study of His Word. It WILL NOT happen by any other means. That's why something as simple as this blog can have such a strong impact. If you spend time in God's Word and meditate on it, your relationship with the Lord will be strengthened. It really is simple. But it is a blessing we often overlook. I say all that as an encouragement. Read the Bible regularly. It's worth it.

I find that no matter how much I read the Bible, it is a never ending process: I am always learning. There is so much to know.
I agree Bob and the amazing thing that I have found is that whatever happens to be on my heart at the time I am studying, I can find answers, encouragement, or whatever I happen to need.
Just an FYI...the reading plan has been updated on the church website.
