Thy Kingdom Come - final
Time to tie up as many loose ends as we can regarding the Kingdom. Of course, we haven't even come close to exhausting all there is to contemplate about the Kingdom, but hopefully we have gone far enough to expand our vision and increase our obedience. This week we will be looking at some of the "yet to come" aspects of the Kingdom. Regardless of how we interpret some of these passages (and their timing), one thing is certain, Jesus is coming again and this is a very good thing. Please post your thoughts and questions. I will be out of town most of the week, but hopefully I'll be able to check in. God bless you!

This reminds me of a conversation at work a couple of days ago. A co-worker heard someone say over the radio that the Bengals were going to be in the super bowl because Jesus is going to come to Cincinnati to see them win. I then tried to explain to my co-worker that Jesus is indeed coming, but in all his glory, and will be as King. I also tried to explain that Jesus is coming for all His people.
OK - So driving to work today I had some random thoughts about the Kingdom to come...first, the trees...Even the ugliest trees are beautiful right now, because GOD planted beauty inside them so that at the right time their true colors would show. HE has planted beauty inside of each of us, and like the trees our true colors only show when we shed what we are doing and allow what HE planted to come forward. The Kingdom to come will be filled with beauty because at that time our true colors will be what show!
The other thought came from the back of a bus (irrelevant what the ad was for!)...Competent, Compassionate, and Courageous. If we are to participate in the Kingdom, I believe we have to have these qualities. Complaining, Condemning, or Criticizing are not anywhere on that list. How much more quickly the Kingdom would come if we took the energy we spend focused on what we are against and redirected it into implementing what we are for!
This series has been great. It has also, led me to the opinion I have had for a while. There is such a need for workers of the Kingdom. We have Cornerstone, the workforce of this country seems to be stressed also. Where I work there is so many needs there between workers and customers. That is just 2 places.
